The Homeless Persons Information Centre is the telephone information and referral service that refers those in the community who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness, to the services that may assist them. It provides professional assessments and referrals for clients seeking accommodation and support services within NSW.
It is open seven days a week between 9:00am and 10:00pm (closed each day between 1:00pm and 2:00pm).

If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, you can ring the Domestic Violence Line for help. The Domestic Violence Line is a statewide free-call number and is available 24 hours, seven days a week.

Community Services (formerly DoCS) promotes the safety and wellbeing of children and young people and works to build stronger families and communities. They provide child protection services, parenting support and early intervention, foster care, adoption services and help for communities affected by disaster.

Parent Line is a 24 hour parent helpline that can provide information and advice for parents across a range of issues, from changing nappies to handling discipline in children and teenagers. The service is available for parents with children aged 0-18 years.
