HISTORY

St Michael's has a long and creditable history, having begun in 1902 as an orphanage for small boys on Windsor Road, Baulkham Hills.

St Michaels’s Family Centre is a charitable sponsored work supported by the Sisters of Mercy Parramatta.

Over the decades, its services have expanded, adapted and changed to respond to the increasing complexities of people’s needs and in keeping with developments in social welfare policy.

Today it is a multi-faceted facility comprising a Crisis Care & Supported Accommodation Programme, Clare Residence, Child care services – Long Day Care, Family Day Care and Occasional Child Care.
